Enjoy learning about the Selvadorada culture, or explore the jungle’s hidden secrets. But be prepared! It won’t be an easy trek through the jungle.
Welcome to Selvadorada — a vibrant jungle destination where adventure, culture, and relaxation intertwine beneath lush canopies and ancient ruins.
Inspired by the rich cultures and landscapes of Latin America, Selvadorada is a world designed for exploration and escape. From colourful marketplaces and lively cantinas to hidden jungle paths and long-forgotten temples, every corner of this vacation world invites discovery.
Whether your Sims are uncovering Omiscan secrets, immersing themselves in local traditions, or simply unwinding in a sun-soaked retreat, Selvadorada offers a setting that feels alive, storied, and beautifully untamed.
🎨 Real-World Roots, Inspiration & Architectural Vision

Architectural forms, handcrafted materials, and jungle-woven neighbourhoods inspired by Latin American culture, colonial heritage, and ancient civilisations.
Selvadorada draws its inspiration from the rich cultural heritage and diverse landscapes of Latin America, blending colonial architectural traditions with ancient jungle civilisations and vibrant local life. The world is designed to feel layered and storied — a place where history, nature, and everyday living exist side by side.
Rather than replicating one specific country or region, Selvadorada captures the spirit of Latin American design: colourful façades softened by time, sun-washed courtyards alive with music and conversation, and stone ruins slowly reclaimed by the jungle. Architecture here feels expressive, handcrafted, and deeply connected to the land.
The balance between civilisation and wilderness is central to Selvadorada’s identity. Grand haciendas and bustling marketplaces sit at the jungle’s edge, while deeper paths lead to forgotten temples, hidden waterfalls, and sacred spaces shaped by ancient cultures.
The architectural vision for Selvadorada is rooted in:
- Spanish and Latin American colonial influences, including stucco walls, arched walkways, tiled roofs, and shaded courtyards
- Ancient Mesoamerican inspiration, reflected in stone ruins, carved motifs, and jungle-covered structures
- Handcrafted detail and bold colour, from painted tiles and textiles to carved wood and decorative ironwork
- A strong indoor–outdoor connection, where homes and community spaces open naturally into gardens, plazas, and jungle paths
Rather than polished or modern, Selvadorada’s architecture embraces imperfection, warmth, and age. Buildings feel lived-in and storied — shaped by generations, celebrations, and quiet moments alike. It’s a world designed for adventure, cultural immersion, and slow, meaningful storytelling beneath the jungle canopy.ese are houses made for school mornings, shared meals, weekend walks, and long-term storytelling.
🗺️ Neighbourhood Planning & World Layout
Selvadorada is planned as a purpose-built vacation world, designed around exploration, cultural immersion, and storytelling-driven gameplay rather than everyday residential living. The layout supports a clear sense of progression — from lively community spaces to increasingly remote jungle environments.
The map on the left shows the core world structure used for planning and orientation, with lots grouped by function, narrative purpose, and player flow. Community hubs sit at the forefront, while deeper jungle paths lead Sims gradually into adventure-focused areas.
The map on the right offers a visual interpretation of how Selvadorada comes together once lots, landscaping, and environmental storytelling are in place — highlighting the contrast between civilisation and wilderness that defines the world.

🌿 Belomisia Jungle
A dense, adventure-focused district designed around exploration, danger, and discovery. This area is intentionally untamed, with jungle paths, ancient ruins, and rental lodgings that support expedition-style gameplay and storytelling deep within the wild landscape.
🎭 Puerto Llamante Marketplace
The cultural heart of Selvadorada, built around social, leisure, and community-focused lots. This lively district is where Sims gather to eat, drink, dance, learn about Omiscan history, and experience the vibrant rhythm of local life before venturing further afield.
🏞️ Jungle Adventure Sites
Scattered throughout the deeper jungle are key exploration spaces — including temples, waterfalls, and hidden ruins — designed to feel increasingly remote and mysterious. These locations support archaeology, relic hunting, and high-stakes adventure gameplay.

✨ A World of Adventure & Discovery
Selvadorada is more than a vacation destination — it’s a celebration of exploration, culture, and connection. A world where every path leads to a story, and every visit feels rich with possibility.
From lively marketplaces and shared meals to quiet moments beneath the jungle canopy, each thoughtfully designed space reflects the rhythm of a land shaped by history, tradition, and nature. Architecture invites gathering, ruins spark curiosity, and the jungle itself becomes part of the narrative.
My hope is that this version of Selvadorada encourages Sims — and players — to slow down and lean in. To balance daring adventures with peaceful retreats, to uncover ancient secrets by day and share laughter in the cantina by night. A place where memories are made through discovery, connection, and wonder.
Selvadorada isn’t about rushing through the jungle or chasing spectacle alone — it’s about creating stories that feel immersive, meaningful, and alive. A world ready to become whatever your Sims’ next great adventure needs it to be.
