🌲 San Sequoia

San Sequoia began as a small fishing town, then became a hub of the fishing and canning industry due to the influence of local fisherman-turned-entrepreneur, Bayani Robles. The Robles family is still very much entrenched in the area even as it has expanded over time thanks to Gilbert Gilberts. Today, San Sequoia is home to cozy streets, a beautiful park with gardens, and quiet suburban neighborhoods. It’s the perfect place to raise a family!

Welcome to San Sequoia — a warm, welcoming world inspired by the San Francisco Bay Area, where classic American Craftsman architecture meets a strong sense of family and community. With tree-lined streets, inviting homes, and thoughtfully designed shared spaces, San Sequoia feels lived-in, connected, and full of heart.

Originally growing from its roots as a small fishing town, the world has expanded into a collection of neighbourhoods shaped by waterfront life, leafy suburbs, and park-centred living. From the characterful wharfside streets to peaceful residential hills and garden-lined communal spaces, each area reflects a different rhythm of everyday Sim life.

Designed with families at its core, San Sequoia is a world made for real living — quiet mornings on the porch, afternoons by the water or park, and evenings spent gathered at home — all grounded in warmth, craftsmanship, and a deep sense of belonging.

🎨 Real-World Roots, Inspiration & Architectural Vision

Architectural forms, material details, and neighbourhood atmosphere inspired by the San Francisco Bay Area and classic American Craftsman communities.

San Sequoia draws its inspiration from the San Francisco Bay Area, where waterfront industry, leafy residential neighbourhoods, and park-centred communities exist side by side. Rather than replicating one exact location, the world blends familiar regional influences into a cohesive setting that feels grounded, lived-in, and deeply connected to everyday family life.

At the heart of San Sequoia’s identity is American Craftsman architecture — a style defined by warmth, practicality, and visible craftsmanship. Homes favour solid forms over showy details, with an emphasis on comfort, durability, and human scale. This architectural language reinforces the world’s slower pace and community-first mindset.

Each neighbourhood reflects a different expression of Bay Area living. The characterful waterfront spaces echo working harbours and wharf districts, while quieter residential areas draw inspiration from hillside suburbs and garden-centred neighbourhoods. Together, they create a world that feels varied yet harmonious.

The goal is not perfection or spectacle, but believability — a place where homes feel designed for real routines, long-term stories, and generations of Sims growing up together.

The architectural vision for San Sequoia is rooted in:

  • Classic American Craftsman homes with strong proportions and welcoming forms
  • Natural materials such as wood siding, brick accents, and stone detailing
  • Covered porches, pitched roofs, and details that encourage neighbourly interaction
  • Family-focused layouts with practical flow between indoor and outdoor spaces
  • Soft, earthy colour palettes that feel warm, familiar, and timeless

Rather than bold statements or ultra-modern builds, San Sequoia focuses on comfortable, character-filled homes — the kind that feel instantly settled and ready for everyday life. These are houses made for school mornings, shared meals, weekend walks, and long-term storytelling.

🗺️ Neighbourhood Planning & World Layout

San Sequoia has been planned as a purpose-built, family-focused world, designed around connection, walkability, and long-term storytelling. Rather than feeling fragmented, each neighbourhood plays a clear role in the overall flow of daily Sim life — from waterfront activity to quieter residential living.

The map on the left shows the neighbourhood structure used for planning and orientation, with lots grouped by community function, household type, and natural movement through the world.
The map on the right offers a visual interpretation of how San Sequoia comes together once homes, landscaping, and shared spaces are in place.

⚓ Anchorpoint Wharf

A lively waterfront district inspired by working harbours and wharfside communities. Anchorpoint Wharf is home to key community lots and gathering spaces, making it a natural social hub where Sims come together for leisure, celebrations, and everyday interactions by the water.

Designed to feel active and characterful, this neighbourhood supports storytelling centred on public life, shared routines, and a strong sense of place.

🌿 Gilbert Gardens

A park-centred neighbourhood built around shared green space and calm residential living. Gilbert Gardens balances homes with community lots, creating a relaxed environment where outdoor life, family routines, and neighbourly connections naturally intersect.

This area is ideal for slower-paced gameplay, generational households, and stories rooted in everyday comfort.

🏡 Hopewell Hills

A quieter, primarily residential neighbourhood featuring medium to larger family homes. Set slightly apart from the busier areas of the world, Hopewell Hills offers a peaceful suburban rhythm while remaining closely connected to schools, parks, and community amenities.

This neighbourhood supports long-term storytelling, multigenerational households, and a strong sense of continuity.

✨ A City of Stories, Elevated

San Myshuno’s makeover is more than a skyline refresh — it’s a celebration of urban life, connection, and possibility.

Each thoughtfully designed apartment, rooftop, and shared space reflects the layered rhythm of city living, where architecture supports ambition, streets pulse with culture, and everyday routines unfold against a constantly shifting backdrop of lights, festivals, and skyline views.

My hope is that this version of San Myshuno invites Sims — and players — to fully embrace city life in all its forms. A place where careers are built floor by floor, friendships spark in shared spaces, and quiet moments on balconies or rooftops offer pause amid the motion. A city that holds space for both hustle and stillness, late nights and early mornings, solitude and community.

San Myshuno isn’t about slowing the city down — it’s about finding balance within it. Creating a world that feels alive, expressive, and ready to become whatever your story needs it to be, whether that’s bold ambition, creative exploration, or simply a place to call home high above the streets.
