Welcome to Innisgreen — a world shaped by folklore, heritage, and the quiet magic of everyday life.

Inspired by the misty moors, rolling hills, and deep-rooted traditions of Ireland, Innisgreen draws its name from the Irish Inis, meaning “island,” paired with the lush green landscapes that echo Ireland’s enduring nickname: the Emerald Isle. From windswept coastlines to ivy-lined villages, this is a place where nature and history exist in gentle harmony.

Designed as a world where stories unfold slowly and meaningfully, Innisgreen invites Sims to connect with the land, their community, and something a little more magical. Whether foraging in Sprucederry Grove, exploring ancient paths through Everdew, or uncovering the history of the Coast of Adhmor, life here is rooted in tradition, intention, and a sense of belonging.

🎨 Real-World Roots, Inspiration & Architectural Vision

Architectural forms, material details, and neighbourhood atmosphere inspired by the Irish countryside, traditional village life, and Celtic folklore.

Innisgreen draws its inspiration from the landscapes and built heritage of Ireland, where architecture is shaped by the land itself — rolling hills, rugged coastlines, and centuries-old villages woven gently into their surroundings. Rather than grand statements, the focus is on homes and spaces that feel weathered, lived-in, and deeply connected to place.

This world captures the essence of rural Irish life rather than replicating a single real-world town. Stone cottages cluster along winding lanes, villages grow organically around gathering spaces, and nature is always just beyond the doorstep. Everything feels slightly softened by time — moss on stone, ivy on walls, and paths worn smooth by generations.

The architectural vision for Innisgreen is rooted in:

  • Traditional Irish stone and thatched cottages
  • Modest, practical forms with pitched roofs and irregular façades
  • Natural materials such as stone, timber, slate, and limewashed finishes
  • Buildings designed to sit within the landscape, not dominate it
  • Village layouts that encourage walkability, community, and shared spaces

Rather than polished or modern builds, the emphasis is on character-filled homes and cultural spaces — places shaped by history, storytelling, and everyday rituals. These are homes made for quiet mornings, shared meals, seasonal festivals, and lives that unfold slowly, grounded in tradition and connection.ide skies, and storytelling that grows naturally over generations.

🗺️ Neighbourhood Planning & World Layout

Innisgreen has been designed as an organic, village-led world, shaped by landscape, tradition, and community rather than rigid planning or uniform development. Neighbourhoods grow naturally from their surroundings, following coastlines, forest clearings, and long-worn paths instead of straight roads and grids.

The map on the left shows how the world is structured for planning and storytelling, with locations grouped by environment, community function, and narrative flow. Homes, gathering spaces, and natural landmarks are placed to reflect how a small island community would realistically evolve over time.

The map on the right offers a visual interpretation of how Innisgreen comes together once homes, shared spaces, and landscaping are in place — revealing a world that feels cohesive, lived-in, and deeply connected to its setting.

🌊 Coast of Adhmor

A rugged coastal stretch shaped by sea air, stone, and history. This neighbourhood blends residential homes with communal spaces, creating a strong sense of heritage and tradition rooted in the island’s past.

🌿 Sprucederry Grove

A peaceful, nature-rich area where village life and the outdoors intertwine. Homes sit close to green spaces and foraging areas, encouraging slower living, exploration, and everyday connection with the land.

🍃 Everdew

Tucked within ancient woodland, Everdew is a quieter, more mystical neighbourhood. Its layout feels secluded and storybook, ideal for Sims drawn to folklore, fae life, and lives shaped by nature and magic.

✨ A World of Heritage and Heart

Innisgreen’s makeover is more than a visual transformation — it’s a celebration of heritage, folklore, and everyday magic.

Each thoughtfully designed home and shared space reflects the slower rhythms of island life, where architecture grows from the land, paths invite wandering, and community is shaped through shared traditions and quiet moments. From village gatherings to solitary walks through misty woods, every space is designed to support storytelling that feels grounded and meaningful.

My hope is that this version of Innisgreen invites Sims — and players — to slow down, settle in, and create stories that feel personal and lived-in. A place where generations grow alongside one another, legends are passed down, and the line between the ordinary and the magical is gently blurred.

Innisgreen isn’t about spectacle or grand statements — it’s about creating a world that feels welcoming, timeless, and rich with story, ready to become whatever your Sims’ lives need it to be.
