This morning, Elvis and Toffee were found snuggled close together, looking a little quiet and thoughtful.
Spread out in front of them were tiny photos of the North Pole, their elf friends, and snowy scenes from home. It seems our mischievous little visitors were feeling a touch homesick today.
Even the cheekiest elves have days where they miss their snowy workshops, their fellow helpers, and the magical buzz of the North Pole.
Sometimes the biggest adventures come with a little bit of longing for home.
🎬 Behind the Scenes
This setup is one of the simplest and sweetest elf ideas to pull together.
I printed a few tiny pictures of elves and wintery North Pole scenes, then added a couple of crumpled tissues for the classic “tearful elf” effect. Elvis and Toffee were tucked into a cozy corner together with their little memories spread around them.
It’s a lovely breather from the usual elf mischief and chaos — and it gave the boys one of those “aww” moments instead of the usual giggles.
Every now and then the elves need a quiet night too.
💡 Recreate It at Home
This one is perfect for a night when you’re short on time but still want something sweet and meaningful.
All you need:
- A few printed mini photos (North Pole scenes, elves, or winter pictures)
- A couple of tissues — slightly scrunched for that “sniffly elf” look
- A quiet spot where the elves can sit together (a sofa, windowsill, or shelf works perfectly)
That’s it — a tiny moment of North Pole nostalgia.
