Some mornings the elves choose chaos… and today was definitely one of those days.

🧝 What They Got Up To
Elvis and Toffee decided to host a game this morning — and let’s just say it wasn’t exactly for the faint-hearted.
When the boys came into the kitchen, they found the elves sitting proudly beside a sign that simply read: “Would you rather…?”
In front of them were two very questionable options.
One cup labelled “Drink Elf Pee” (don’t panic — it was just apple juice), and another labelled “Eat Reindeer Poo”(thankfully chocolate chips).
The challenge was simple: pick your fate.
Cue dramatic faces, fake gagging, and a lot of giggles before the boys realised the elves were clearly enjoying their mischievous morning entertainment. Elvis and Toffee definitely knew exactly what they were doing with this one.
🎬 Behind the Scenes
This setup actually came from a silly Pinterest idea that popped up on my feed, and the moment I saw it I knew the boys would find it hilarious.
It’s one of those perfectly gross kid jokes that somehow becomes even funnier the more dramatic everyone acts about it.
All I needed were a couple of clear plastic cups, some apple juice, and chocolate chips. I quickly made some labels, propped up a little “Would You Rather” sign, and let the elves take centre stage like the cheeky hosts of the weirdest breakfast game imaginable.
The boys’ reactions were exactly what you’d expect — lots of “ewww!” and laughing at the same time.
Sometimes the simplest setups end up being the most memorable.

💡 Recreate It at Home
This one takes barely a few minutes to set up and always gets a laugh.
- Grab two clear cups (plastic or glass works fine).
- Fill one with apple juice — this will be the “Elf Pee.”
- Fill the other with chocolate chips — aka “Reindeer Poo.”
- Write or print a small “Would You Rather?” sign.
- Sit your elves beside the cups like they’re hosting the most ridiculous game show in the North Pole.
Bonus points if the kids dramatically debate their options before choosing.
✨ Elf Hack of the Day
Keep a little stash of tiny props for elf setups.
Mini cups, bowls, toy dishes, and bits from old playsets are perfect for quick scenes like this — and they save you rummaging around the kitchen at midnight trying to find something that looks elf-sized.
Your future December self will thank you.
