Elves say… breakfast is served!

🧝 What They Got Up To
This morning the elves treated the boys to a sweet little breakfast surprise — donuts!
Elvis and Toffee were sitting proudly beside the box like two tiny café owners, each holding their own little donut boxes as if they’d just popped out for an early morning bakery run.
Safe to say the setup didn’t last long once the boys spotted the Krispy Kreme box.
Breakfast was officially served.
🎬 Behind the Scenes
This one actually came with a wholesome twist.
My O.H. — who never gets involved in anything elf-related — surprised me after finishing his night shift by walking through the door holding a box of doughnuts ready for the elves’ setup (which was meant to be for that morning!).
The only tiny hiccup?
Instead of the colourful Christmas-themed variety box I’d been picturing in my head… he brought home the plain original glazed ones.
Bless him, he tried.
So after my work shift I popped out and picked up the proper festive box with all the fun Christmas doughnuts.
Honestly though? It turned into a bonus win — because now me and O.H. got to enjoy the original glazed ones ourselves.
Everyone wins.
For the elves’ mini version, I’d already found the cutest printable donut set on Etsy. I made the tiny donut boxes ahead of time and filled them with colourful fruit cereal hoops to act as “elf doughnuts.”
The tiny details ended up being everyone’s favourite part of the setup.

💡 Recreate It at Home
This elf breakfast setup is super easy to recreate and works with any budget.
You’ll need:
• Any donuts you like (shop bought or homemade).
• A mini printable donut set — I used the Elf Kristmas Kreme set printable from EasyElfIdeas on Etsy.
• Colourful cereal hoops or mini cookies for the elves’ “donuts.”
• Optional extras like a napkin, tiny plate, or a paper coffee cup for cute café vibes.
Once everything is set up, place the elves beside the box like they’re proudly presenting their breakfast delivery.
✨ Elf Hack of the Day
Save cute food-themed printables whenever you find them — things like mini cereal boxes, takeaway bags, donut boxes, or café cups.
They instantly make food setups feel much more magical (and they’re easy to reuse every year).
