⭐ Fallen Court – Book Review

📚 Book Details

✨ The Quick Take

Dark, addictive, and dripping in tension — Fallen Court doesn’t just continue the story… it raises the stakes in every possible way. More politics, more emotion, more spice, and a cliffhanger that honestly feels like a personal attack.

🖤 Story Snapshot (Spoiler-Free)

The dangerous world of fae courts tightens its grip as secrets unravel and loyalties are tested. Cate finds herself deeper in a game she barely understands, while Lach walks the fine line between power, protection, and possession.

With shifting alliances, rising tension, and a romance that burns just as much as it aches — this sequel dives headfirst into the darker, more seductive side of the fae world.

💭 My Reading Experience

⚡ Immediate Thoughts

Finished in just 2 days. Just… what?!?!?!

That cliffhanger ending?! Geneva Lee, how could you do this to us?!

I need confirmation of book three immediately because leaving us dangling like that is actually criminal behaviour.

And yet… I devoured every single page.

🖤 What I Loved

Book one was strong — but Fallen Court?
Oh, it delivered.

The biggest standout for me was getting more Lach POV. It added so much emotional depth and complexity to the story. You really start to understand the layers behind him — the control, the obsession, the vulnerability hiding underneath it all.

(And yes… he has officially secured a permanent spot on my book boyfriend list 👀)

The tension? Immaculate.
The drama? Constant.
The steam? Perfectly placed and intense.

Everything just worked.

🔥 The Romance

This isn’t soft, fluffy romance — this is dark, consuming, and slightly dangerous.

The push and pull between Cate and Lach feels charged in every interaction. There’s vulnerability tangled up in control, and trust wrapped in power dynamics — and honestly? It’s addictive to read.

👑 World-Building & Politics

The world opens up so much more in this book.

We get deeper insight into the court politics, the hierarchy, the manipulation — and it all feels layered rather than overwhelming. The stakes feel higher, the danger more real, and the consequences heavier.

🫠 That Ending…

I’m not okay.
You won’t be okay either.

That’s all I’ll say.

🎧 Audiobook Section – Narrators

Narrators: Aiden Snow & Raquel Beattie

Aiden Snow gives Lach that perfect blend of controlled dominance and quiet, unhinged devotion — it’s honestly dangerous how well it works.

Raquel Beattie brings Cate’s trauma, resilience, and emotional depth to life in such a grounded way.

Together?
They make the story feel cinematic, immersive, and even more intense.

If you’re debating format — audiobook is absolutely the way to go.

🖤 Final Thoughts + Come Chat

Fallen Court took everything from book one and elevated it — more emotion, more danger, more intensity.

It’s addictive, dramatic, and completely impossible to put down.

And that ending?
Yeah… I’ll be thinking about it until the next book releases.
